For a delayed payment, individual pay problem, or confirmed deposit availability, use your bank, LES, and official DFAS resources. The app does not authenticate to your bank or monitor a deposit.
Military pay arrives on the 1st and 15th of each month, but the day your money is available depends on your bank’s posting rules, weekend and federal-holiday shifts, and your branch’s processing cutoff. When a payday falls on a weekend or holiday, DFAS typically pays on the preceding business day, and the countdown reflects that published adjustment rather than a guess. Early-deposit features — where a bank makes funds available a day or two ahead of the official date — are a bank product, not a pay change, and they can be withdrawn as easily as they were offered. If you budget to the early date, be ready to budget to the published date when the early date wobbles. For the month-to-month rhythm the countdown is exact; for the hour your deposit appears, your bank’s posting disclosure is the authority, and your LES remains the record of what was actually paid.
