Grooming standards change more often than most sailors expect, and the fastest way to be wrong in front of an inspector is to quote a rule from memory. Search the regulation for the item itself — rings, watches, eyeglasses, bags, the haircut terms the Navy actually uses — and read the exceptions along with the rule, because most uniform paragraphs carry them. If a command or region has issued supplemental guidance, a NAVADMIN or a local instruction will say so, and the app makes that message easy to find alongside the regulation. For appearance questions that are judgment calls, bring the paragraph to your chain of command rather than arguing from a screenshot.
